Jinxed?

While Max's mommy and daddy disagree over whether he is going to be a Longhorn or Boilermaker one day, the battle wages on through his wearing of official UT or Purdue attire. Unfortunately for Alex his only Purdue outfit is only beginning to be the right size, so he has been sporting Texas attire far more frequently.

He quickly outgrew his little Texas romper/onesie during the beginning of the football season, and Nana decided he needed another one before the UT-Oklahoma game. He dutifully wore the adorable outfit, but unfortunately it did not help the Longhorns reach victory during that game.

The following week Max did not wear the UT outfit and Texas was victorious against Baylor.

This week Max wore the UT outfit through the beginning of the third quarter, when his Aunt Becca and I started questioning if the less than stellar performance could be related to Max's attire. We were left with quite a quandary: Max had fallen asleep but Texas was not doing well. Should we wake a sleeping baby to change his clothes, or watch the team continue to struggle? Fortunately he woke up and we were able to change his outfit... and soon after the tide turned in Texas' favor.

Perhaps we should have him wear a Colorado Rockies outfit for the remainder of the World Series!
