We took Nick for his 2 month well-baby appointment this morning and he did great! Here are the latest stats (percentiles based on his adjusted age - 3 weeks):
Weight: 8 lbs, 14 oz (50th percentile)
* up from 6lbs, 6oz, which was in the 20th percentile at 5 weeks.
Length: 19 3/4" (25th percentile)
* up from 19", which was in the 10th percentile at 5 weeks.
Head Circumference: 37 cm (50th percentile)
* up from 34 1/2 cm, which was in the 30th percentile at 5 weeks.
Nick is generally meeting all the milestones they check for - smiling at/with us, lifting his head during tummy time, sleeping and eating sufficiently, etc. So, he's obviously growing and thriving!!! We got a new prescription to try for his reflux if an increased dose in his current medication doesn't work, and don't have to go back until he is 4 months. She referred us to a pediatric urologist, to have them check out a possible "mild chondal" (?), or tightness in the base of his penis. She said they will probably say that everything is fine, and that it is nothing urgent, but it would be good for us to get it checked out just in case.
At the end, Nick got 3 shots [Pentacel (DTaP, HIB, IPV), Prevnar and HEP B] and Rotateq (a rotovirus oral solution), all of which probably hurt us more than him - although he was not happy.
