A day shy of his actual birthday, I took Nick for his 3 year well-check appointment this morning and it went great! Here are the latest stats:
Weight: 35 lbs (82nd percentile)
* up from 31 lbs, 12 oz, which was in the 67th percentile at ~2 1/2 years.

Length: 37 1/2" (53rd percentile)
* up from 36", which was in the 41st percentile at ~2 1/2 years.


He had his first vision test, and he passed with flying colors.  The machine only tests to at least 20/25, so Dr. Woods said his vision might be better than that, but this is enough for them to determine he has no problems that require attention.

She said she is not concerned about the slight disparity between his height and weight, because he is a "very sturdy and solid boy".  It's crazy to think that he was only in the 10th percentile for height 2 years ago!

He got a clean bill of health and did absolutely great.  After insisting on demonstrating his fine motor drawing skills on every available piece of paper, he became really, really interested in listening to everyone's heart with the stethoscope.  He got the chance at the end of his exam, and was very serious about listening to each of us.  I think we passed his exam and it was quite cute :)

He was lucky in that he didn't need any immunizations today, but she warned me that the 4 year well check has a bunch.  She didn't need to tell me... I remembered that from Max :(  Oh well, we have a year before we need to cross that bridge.
